1.- How do the tiles attach to the floor?
The interlocking feature and their weight keeps them in place without the use of screews, nails or adhesives.
2.- What about snow, ice or extreme heat?
Our tropical iron woods are naturally resistant to extreme weather conditions as well as rot, wood eating bugs, and fire retardant rated class A by the NFPA or class 1 by the UBC, same as concrete and steel.
3.- Can the tiles be cut to feed around corners, posts, rails, etc.?
Yes, our tiles can be cut to feed just like any wood product.
4.- What does the warranty cover?
Our ten years warranty covers workmanship defects, splintering and excessive warping or twisting.
5.- What about maintenance?
Our tropical iron woods do not require the use of wood sealers for water protection, oiling it will extend its life expand (upto) 50 years
6.- What about the base?
The base is made out of a high density polypropelene, with a UV additive and it is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
7.- What about the gaps between the wood pieces?
They are designed for drainage purposes and for easy clean up, just hose them down.
